A FÁBRICA DE CORES

La luz proyectada viaja por el espacio construyendo estructuras aparentemente invisibles que chocan sobre las superficies de las pantallas de TV flotantes como polvo en el universo. Las pantallas de TV convencionalmente emiten imágenes, pero en esta pieza las reciben creando un flujo en sentido contrario, en reversa a su sistema original; un holograma que se convierte en la ilusión de un mensaje imposible. Los elementos que conforman esta pieza hacen parte de las esculturas técnicas bricoladas que componen la estructura performática de los shows de Nueve Voltios y son resultado de viajes y búsquedas por tecnologías que cuentan historias espacio-temporales en diferentes ciudades del mundo, en este caso, encontradas en el centro de Mexico D.F. y de São Paulo, Brasil, reafirmándose como elementos de memoria.  Esta instalación multimedia ha sido presentada en el Museo de Humanidades y Telecomunicaciones Oi Futuro en Rio de Janeiro, Brasil, utilizando el acervo del museo, y en Espacio Casa Hoffman, en Bogotá, Colombia.

The projected light travels through space building seemingly invisible structures that crash onto the surfaces of floating TV screens like dust in the universe. TV screens conventionally emit images, but in this piece they receive them creating a flow in the opposite direction, in reverse to their original system; a hologram that becomes the illusion of an impossible message. The elements that make up this piece are part of the bricolated technical sculptures composed by elements taken from the performative structure of the Nueve Voltios shows and are the result of travels and searches for technologies that tell space-time stories in different cities around the world, in this case, found in the center of Mexico D.F. and from São Paulo, Brazil, reaffirming themselves as elements of memory. This multimedia installation has been presented at the Oi Futuro Museum in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, using objects from their collection, and at Espacio Casa Hoffman, in Bogotá, Colombia.
